Caltrain Bike Station provides a safe place to park your bike. We offer free valet parking, supervised by top mechanics that can fix your rig while you go to work.
USING OUR VALET PARKING SERVICE IS A SNAP, SIMPLY FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. DROP OFF BICYCLE
Grab a valet ticket. Fill out name and contact number on our half – you take the other half. Solidly attach your helmet or other hangers on securely. Let us know if you’d like a free inspection or know of a repair that’s needed. We’ll fix while you work!
2. PICK UP BICYCLE
Give us your valet ticket. We’ll retrieve your bike.
Smile and say thanks!
Please observe the following rules when using valet parking:
- Due to security reasons, we do not allow overnight parking (exceptions are made for reverse commuters, etc. – please inquire). A $5 overnight fee will be assessed after the second consecutive night the bike is left excluding weekends. Bicycles left over one month may be donated or given to police.
- We are not responsible for any articles attached on the bike and bikes left overnight.
- Only you and those whom are designated on the Registration Form can retrieve your bike.
Your bike is your set of wheels, and we’ll ensure you stay riding. Simply tell our staff your problems and we’ll either perform an inspection on-the-spot or call you with an estimate. We will then fix your bike while you work or schedule an appointment for another time that works for you.
We’ve got you covered for your bike commute. We have a wide selection of lights, locks, helmets, and whatever else you need to keep you riding safely.
We will soon offer free flat-tire clinics, tutorials on safe bike commuting, and other clinics to help optimize your bike commute. Be sure to join our mailing list to learn more.

Most of your questions can be answered by our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
HOW MUCH WILL ALL THIS COST ME?
Valet parking is free. We do assess a $5 overnight fee assessed after the second consecutive night excluding weekends. Events will also be free. We charge standard shop rates for repairs, parts and accessories.
WHO PAYS FOR THE BIKE STATIONS?
Bike Stations are paid in part by the Joint Powers Board (Caltrain), City of San Francisco via Measure K, and from customers who patronize our operations.
WHY DO I NEED TO SIGN-IN EACH TIME I USE A VALET STATION?
We need a way to contact you if we have any issues. We also need to ensure proper transfer of bike if you should lose your valet ticket. Finally, our reporting helps secure future funding.
CAN I USE ONE OF THE LOCKERS?
Absolutely, they’re inexpensive (about $30 a month last time we checked) 30×44″ lockers! However we don’t manage them so you’ll need to go directly through Caltrain. Click here to check availability, see current prices, and download an application. Or call 650.508.6350.
