FAQs

Why do you require photos of a selfie, ID, and bikes?

Selfie photos combined with a state issued ID card or driver’s license protects against theft. We also use photos to assist us when reviewing security video.

What if I don’t have a valid credit card?

You can pay by cash (no checks) at any staffed Metro Bike Hub location during staffed hours.

What if I cannot upload photos or don’t have proper identification?

Please visit us at any staffed Metro Bike Hub. We will walk you through the registration process.

What if I don’t have a valid email address?

Please visit us at any staffed Metro Bike Hub. We use emails as the primary mode of communication with you. If you do not have a valid email address, we will contact you by phone.

Who operates the Covina BikeHub?

The Covina BikeHub is owned by the City of Covina. The city hired BikeHub to operate the facilities, and perform administrative functions. BikeHub also operates the access and registration features.

Why is there a consecutive days parked limit?

The intention of the Covina BikeHub is to provide short term secure bike parking. Longer term bike parking decreases the number of bike racks available for use. Bikes parked overnight also increases the chance of bike theft.

Can I park multiple bikes?

Yes, you can register up to 3 bikes with one Membership. You can only park one bike at a time per location, however you can park multiple bikes simultaneously at multiple locations. You cannot park bikes for others, or park bikes that are not registered as yours.
