FAQs

Why do you require photos of a selfie, ID, and bikes?

Selfie photos combined with a state-issued ID card or driver’s license protects against ID theft. We also use photos to assist us when reviewing security video.

What if I cannot upload photos or don’t have proper identification?

Please visit us during staffed hours. We will walk you through the registration process.

What if I don’t have a valid credit card?

You can pay by cash (no checks) at a Metro Bike Hub location during staffed hours.

What if I don’t have a valid email address?

Please visit us during staffed hours. We use emails as the primary mode of communication with you. If you do not have a valid email address, we will contact you by phone.

Who operates Metro Bike Hubs?

Metro Bike Hubs are owned by Metro. Metro hired BikeHub to operate the facilities, hire and manage the staff, and perform administrative functions. BikeHub also operates the access and registration features.

Why is there a consecutive days parked limit?

The intention of Metro Bike Hub is to provide short-term secure bike parking. Longer-term bike parking decreases the number of bike racks available for use. Having bikes parked overnight also increases the chance of bike theft.

Does my Pass allow me entry in all Metro Bike Hub locations?

Yes, at this time a Pass grants you access to all locations. We may offer station-specific Passes at a later time.

Can I park multiple bikes?

Yes, you can register up to 3 bikes with one Membership. You can only park one bike at a time per location, however you can park multiple bikes simultaneously at multiple locations. You cannot park bikes for others, or park bikes that are not registered as yours.
